Do You Take My Dental Insurance?

It’s the question we hear most, so here’s the honest answer. Cannady Dental is a fee-for-service, non-restricted provider. We are not in-network with any insurance plan — and that’s by design, so Dr. Cannady can recommend the treatment that’s right for you rather than what an insurance company will approve.

Searching for a Delta Dental dentist, Cigna dentist, or MetLife dentist in Clearwater? If you have a PPO plan from carriers like Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana, Delta Dental, Cigna, or MetLife, you can use your out-of-network benefits here and we file the claims for you. Most PPO plans let you see any dentist you choose, and your insurance company sends reimbursement directly to you. We’ll verify your benefits before your visit so you know your expected costs upfront.

We do not participate in Medicaid or HMO/DMO plans, including Sunshine Health and MCNA Dental. If you have one of these plans, we can’t bill them — but our $99 new patient special (comprehensive exam, full digital X-rays, and a personalized treatment plan) plus flexible Cherry financing still make quality care within reach.
